Federation (BMF)

The Federation offers a range of services to help Members build their businesses. 

These services include advice and financial support; information on technical, legal, commercial, statistical and environmental matters;

training courses and grants. The membership demonstrates Tate and Crewe's

commitment to complying with the BMF business standards, regulations and

guidelines for the marine industry.

Tate & Crewe Marine Ltd confirm new boatshed facility at Sovereign Marina

Tate and Crewe Marine Ltd, today agreed a long term strategic commitment to stay based at Sovereign Marina, Eastbourne, East Sussex, by signing a 25 year lease with Carillion PLC, the marina's owners.

The agreement was a significant step for Tate & Crewe who have been expanding to meet popular demand at Sovereign Harbour over the past 2 years. The new lease agreement includes the main marina Boatshed and workshops which will allow for the future expansion of the business, providing a complete installation, maintenance and repair facility for the marina's clients and visitors alike.

Tate and Crewe's Directors, James Tate and Nathan Crewe commented, "Signing the lease for the Boatshed has been a major achievement for our company, securing our future here at Sovereign Harbour where we enjoy good relations with so many of the berth holders and residents alike. With one of the largest boatshed facilities in the South of England, and with the team of professionals that we have we can now undertake the overhaul, repair or servicing of any vessel"

Both James and Nathan would sincerely like to thank all of their clients for their ongoing support and custom since Tate & Crewe Marine Ltd was formed just a few years ago. 

In addition they would also like to thank their team of employees who have worked so hard to get the company to the position where we could secure the Boatshed as our new facility.
